EVYMS composers and performers Ty Promreuk and Karalyn Schubring will be presenting at Chandler's TEDx Talks this August.
Ty Promreuk (pictured above) will perform her original composition, "Shadowfire." Joining her on the violin and cello will be Dian and Michael D'Avanzo from the Phoenix Symphony, both EVYMS parents.
Karalyn Schubring (pictured above) says, "The title of my talk is How Improv Changes Everything and it will focus on the benefits of intentionally doing improv daily. I'll be doing live improv on the piano using a motive from the audience."
Chandler TEDx Talks is hosted for youth, by youth. There will be speakers, music, poetry, and dance, all related to the topic of Breaking Stereotypes. All the speakers and performers are youth.
This event is free for youth ages 9 to 19 only. Limit 100 attendees.
