EVYMS Student Wins First Place in MTNA Competition, Performs at NAMM Show 2018

Congratulations to Ty Promreuk (age 15) for her first place award in the Music Teacher's National Association (MTNA) annual composition competition in the Senior category. Ty won the award for her original composition, "La Habana". This is the second consecutive year that Ty has one first place in this national competition. She will perform her piece at the MTNA National Conference, March 17 - 21 at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort in Florida.

In addition to winning the MTNA, Ty was invited to perform at the National Association of Music Merchants' Annual Show. She performed "La Habana" in Anaheim, California on January 24 in the NAMM showroom.
